Holidays = Potential guests

Hey Everyone! :D

So I've been wanting to do some more artsy stuff, but given that it's the holidays and living in an Asian family. There's a lot of visits to relatives, wedding invites, relatives coming over et. Which is why there has been less activity, and even though I want to do stuff I'm limited because of that.

So I would like to apologise, as I feel like most of my days I'm always apologising or saying I would like to do this and that but don't actually get to do it. It's not like I wanted situations to turn out like this but it has so I guess I'll have to deal with it for now.

I shall catch up with you guys soon, right now I have to get on with other things. But don't let this get you down. I'm not being negative, I'm being productive it may not be with what I want it to be but it is productive in other sense.

I will talk about this more in detail later but for now take care and think positive. I will get back to you soon.

Watercolour Painting! Step-by-Step Tutorial and Writing Event Information.

This Post Includes: A tutorial on how to make a watercolour rose painting. Writing Discussion.

Hey Everyone! :D

So as the title suggests I did a watercolour painting yesterday! I wanted to share it all with you so I decided to do so. I will break down what I've done and explain the pictures to you clearly. After I do so, I will talk to you all about the writing event (or you can just skip all the artsy stuff and go right to the bottomg of the page where I will discuss my writing part to you all! Lets get started :D

So this is the A4 sized Daler Rowney watercolour paper that I used for the painting. I bought this from the artstore but it arrived a two-three weeks later because it was out of stock. The weight of the paper is as shown - 300 g/m2 New Grain. It is a very heavy weighted paper and it's absorbent to the water. This kind of paper requires a lot of water which is very good!

Below is two pictures of the sketch I did of a rose painting. I used two google images pictures and merged them into one and created my own design the main rose was from here and the other small rose buds are from here. To sketch a rose is quite simple. Just follow the outlines of a plain drawing and make your own changes to them as you see fit.

Also I bought my first ever watercolour paints. I've always had watercolour pencils, but no watercolour paints or paper. Which is why this project was really fun for me! This is the Winsor & Newton set of pocket watercolour set. I showed on my precious post some of the arts and craft that I got this was one of them. I was really excited to use them and decided to use them for the painting. I really spent a lot on my arts supply. Honestly saying, you don't need such expensive supplies but I wanted to because I wanted to spoil myself a little. :)

As you can see below I haven't used this set at all until yesterday:

First step: I used Alizerin Crimson mixed with a little bit of Lemon Yellow to add a small and light background to the roses. This gave it a peachy pink effect. As for the background I used Sap Green with a little bit of Lemon Yellow to give it a nice greeny affect.

Step Two: Once the background dries, (Note: this did not take long to dry because the paper absorbed a lot of the water really fast), I used the Alizerin Crimson and a dab of Lemon Yellow and painted with the thick paint the darker outlines of the petals where the shadow would form.

Step Three:  Get rid of the excess paint from the brush on the paint pallette. Then dip the brush into water and dap the excess water onto some tissue. Use the brush to pull out the paint from the dark edges until if it fill the petal. Make sure to know where your light and dark sources are.

Note: Step two and three would be easier to carry out if you use a small, thin round brush rather than a flat brush.

Step Four: You should have something that looks like this:

Step Five: Make sure to do step two and three on the other roses and the rose buds. To have something that looks like this:

Step Six: To finish by completing the leaves, start off by using the Sap Green, and painting in the veins of the leaves. After they are sort of dried, add a little bit of Lemon Yellow to the sap green making a lighter green to paint in the rest of the leaves.

Step Seven (optional): I wanted to make my background a little intense so the rose would really pop out of it. To do so I used the Lemon Yellow with a little but of Sap Green towards the centre of the drawing background giving it a lighter green effect. Then using the Sap Green I darkened the rest of the background to really give the leafy green affect.

Step Eight: Once it is dried make sure to sign it and date it :)

The finished watercolour painting should look like this: Or something similar depending on how you did yours.

Thank you for reading this I hope you all enjoyed this tutorial of watercolour painting step by step.
End of Tutorial.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Writing Event Discussion Read Below: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ok so as you all know that I am working on my novel. Yes, I am still working on it. It's going to be a very long process as my mind is exploding with so many new ideas. Sometimes I want to take a break from my own writing and work on something else, which is absolutely fine.
If you feel like you need some inspiration I would suggest you go to Cowrite.Net It's a great place to really open your creative juice and also participate in some writing too. You don't have to be a pro at writing (I'm not as you can see), and the community is very friendly. Once you click that link, you will be taken to the introduction page where it outlines how the website works. I will explain below how it works so you all can get a gist of it. *Declaimer: I have not been paid or told to advertise this website I am doing this of my own accord as I genuinely like the website a lot.*
Brief explaination of how the site works:
1) You will be taken to the Introduction page.
2) You would be given a generated user (which you will see on the left panel of the page, near sign up and login. It will also be shown on the Global chat - on the top right panel of the page)
3) Sign up Process is easy, just enter a username and password and that's it!
4) Once you are logged in (or are just there as a guest) you can participate in current writing tournaments, start your own tournaments, start your own story or even participate in other stories!
5) The way it works is you type in a sentence (in the centre panel noted as the main story interface) live, and people can vote on the sentence (as well as you can vote on others too) and the one with the most vote in the given amount of time would be selected in that story! (If there are two sentences with the same number of votes then it will randomly select a sentence.)
6) Once you are in a story you would see below the global chat the title of the story you are currently on a chat box for it. It will show you who else is online in this story and also the participants.
If you want more understanding speak to @malie129 and he would be able to help you out! You can find him on the site and of course on twitter! :D
Here are a few that I have participated in, this includes tournaments and general story and a demo to understand the gist of it:
My Story: Expect the Unexpected
SunDec21st Tournament
My First Writing and Demo Story
Also every 9pm (GMT) I will be trying to participate in the 9pm tournament :D Hope to you see you there! https://cowrite.net/x?sid=HSMPT3R
Also if you do check out hte website I mentioned, be sure to let them know that Tarana or TaranaBstar sent you there! Thank you! :D
I hope this was a very insightful and useful post stay tuned for more!
That's all for today, happy holidays and have a lovely new year!
As you can see from this picture, I bought a large size canvas, a mini bath set (to pamper myself) Some coloured bubble wrapped envelopes and a loom beads maker which I am sooo excited to make!
These are some things I ordered from ebay to start making air dry clay #charms I got one necklace 6 bracelets and the rolling pin for clays. Still waiting on my blades and eye pins! :D
The picture below shows some of the art supply delivery that I got. The A4 water colour paper was out of stock so it was delievered a little late.
Oil paint set! I can't wait to use them!! I'm sooo excited to try them out. These are the really expensive and quality ones so they are really really good!
These are some of the other supplies I ordered. Terpentine (two bottles of it) white gesso. 3 canvas board, 2 in the same size. And last but not least two different branded air dry clay! :D
Overcame one obstacle two to go!
Hey Everyone!! :D
So like the title suggests, I have just been through one obstacle and would face another two more soon. One of the obstacle would be tomorrow, it's not really an obstacle just more of a result in waiting. Which if it turns out to be a positive then I have officially past this obstacle, and if not well then I'd have to readjust my life for the next year again. I know what you're all thinking, what on earth is this obstacle she's going on about? Well I would tell you all but first I would like to overcome it and see the result (hence waiting for tomorrow) then I can spill it out all to you as to why I'm not as active as usual. The second obstacle may take a few weeks to take affect but I don't want it to become too much of a stress so I'll just tell you all about that soon (soon meaning proabably tomorrow as well).
Ok now enough about the obstacles and on to some good and exciting news!! So when I told you all I ordered some art supplies on Black Friday, it was finally delivered to me last week Friday!! :D I was soo excited but I had to contain my excite because of the recent happenings in my life. However now that they are over (sort of) I should be able to talk to you all about it.
Now, I order really good and quality acrylic paints, and watercolours and some water colour papers. I noticed that I don't have watercolour paints or papars so I ordered them, I do however have watercolour pencils so I didn't splurge any money on that. I bought mini canvases and other board canvases. I also bought oils paint, the good quality one, I'm a pretty fast learner, so once I observe something I pretty much obsorb everything I can (in most cases) so I'm currently learning about that too. I also bought Turpentine to thin and clean my brushes and oil paints with them. I've done some research on Turpentine and found that you should use it in a well ventalated area and to be careful on using it as it is toxic. Finally, that last thing I bought was AIR DRY CLAY!!!!! I've been overly excited to work with clay!! I know Sculpey is a good baking clay but I wanted to start off with air dry clay. I bought two different brands so I would be using them soon I'm just overly excited with it!! I really can't wait to get stuck in to it. I just need to order a blade and rolling pin for it and I'm good to go because I already have the tools that I bought over a year ago so I'm really excited for it a lot!! :D
I shall show you the pictures of what I got but in my next post as I can't go on typing too much and need to rest up (and calm my hype) and just research and learn more about arts and crafts! :D Please do look forward to upcoming creativity I'll be working on a lot (slowly but surely). Also I apologise for my rambling but I wanted to keep you all updated on my happenings and missed telling you all about things.
Also my creative writing is sort of on a hold because I need to do some Islamic research to see what I can add to my story content without it clashing with the Islamic rulings. So don't worry I shall be on board with it soon (most probably next year - I'M SO SORRY!) but I do really want to put a lot of effort into it and because of my health I can't strain myself too much.
Well I think that's all for now, I will chat to you all in my next post (likely tomorrow) and keep you all updated. Sorry for not making this as positive as I hoped but I shall end on a positive note! Work hard and the result will be a fruiteful success, you may not see it directly dig a little deeper and search for the hidden message because I can almost say for certain it would always end in something good. #blackfriday and many things to say
Hello Everyone!! :D
I know I was to post about the #ArtCards but honestly say I haven't had the chance for the past few days and the next few weeks I'm going to be busy with appointments and dealing with legal matters and health matters so please bare with me.
I managed to have the chance of writing to you guys so I thought I might as well do it now...before I go to sleep...past mid night..well in my defence I am not sleeping as late as usual and I am working on my sleep :)
Anyways, my younger brother told me about Black Friday as I am such a clueless person. I gathered that it's like a big shopping sale that's happens in US and has become a worldwide thing, and now has been brought to UK!! Well I think it's wonderful!!!! I did some shopping online and I'm getting really excited for when the items arrived!! I went all out of art supplies! So look forward to a very artsy week (in about 2-3 weeks time) I'm so excited!! It's really interesting and a little addictive I must say.
Also I've followed various writing related twitters one in particular that caught my interest was #nanowrimo which stands for National Novel Writing Month. It gave me the idea of starting something like that on my expressive writing blog (which I shall discuss on my other blog in more detail in the near future) I think it's a great way to motivate each other and very great way to continue your writing.
That's it for now I will get back to you all very soon please be patient with me I hope after the next two weeks my life should be a little calmer then usual.
It's ok to take a break
Hey Everyone! :D
So I have been not feeling well today and yesterday, and for two days (yesterday and the day before) I wasn't feeling up for going on my laptop. So I thought I would blog about it today since I haven't done so in a while.
Firstly, I think I need a break, and before you freak out let me explain. I'm not saying that I won't be doing what I'm doing right now. I'm just going to take it a little at a time. For some reason if I do even a little my health acts up so I don't want to cause any more harm on my health because then I might not be able to do anything at all.
I do apologise for not doing as much as I hoped to but I really want to work on my health because that way I will be able to work on other things such as my reading, writing craft work my Islamic life too. So don't feel like I'm abandoning anything because I'm not. I'm still here, and I will continue to keep bloggin about my life regularly as I am doing so right now. :)
So creatively, I haven't done anything much because I've been preoccupied with my reading and I have to say after I finish this recent book I will be writing reviews on all seven of the books, individually (they will be found my writing blog). I'm really looking forward to that.
The changes to this blog is going to be happening slowly as I stated previously, so I hope to have something up.
My Art Cards will be up sometime this week so do look forward to that :) I will do as much work as I possibly can (without straining my health of course).
Well that's all I have to say for now until my next post :) Take care all and always think positive TaranaBStar A beaming star shining with positivity for the world embrace xoxox
Opportunities Await!
Hey everyone! :D
So it's been a few days since my last blog post and I thought to myself I should start to blog again. I wanted to post for you yesterday but I didn't - it slipped my mind completely. So I thought I would do so today.
Firstly, I wanted to say that I am really excited about this course that I am taking. I enjoy learning new things and this is something too. Learning Adobe illustrator will help me construct a foundation on my digital art side of things. It's such a versertile opportunity and I feel like I'm learning a lot now as well. The class is on every Tuesday evening and I love what I'm learning. Hopefully when I become better at the digital art I can create different avenues for clients. I'm feeling excited and optimistic about it.
Secondly, I have been doing my writing recently, but it's not anything new it's more like I'm trying to catch up on what I have not written. Then I can continue from where I left off. I love writing, as you all are probably aware. I aspire to be a good author in the future, I'm still hoping for this dream and feel like I can begin to take a step towards this goal.
Thirdly, I am currently still reading the book I've been obsessing about and I love it so much!!! I'm a hopeless romantic and that's why I love the romantic aspect of things a lot along side comedy as well! I mean who doesn't like a good laugh?
Finally, I did some artwork that I'd like to share with you all and one of them gave me an idea for Art Cards (which I haven't forgotten) so that should be coming to you all very soon!! :D
This completes the last few days worth of blogging. I hope this was interesting, and I hope you like my artwork!
Take Care and think positive TaranaBstar A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox (I know I didn't write this on my last post so I added it on here now lol I'll try and remember to add this).
The Happy Emotion
Hey everyone! :D
How are all of you today? I shall tell you my exact feeling right now: HAPPY!! :D Why you ask? no idea :P I just posted this status on my Facebook so I'm going to share it here as well:
Has anyone ever felt so happy that they want to share that happiness with others? That's exactly how I am feeling right now!! Why you ask? No idea Must we have a reason to be happy? Can't we just smile and appreciate what life has offered us so far? Well I sure can and that's exactly what I feel right now!!!!! Wish I could share this joy with you right now!! If anyone is feeling down just smile...trust me it goes a long way when you smile! Anyone sees you smiling and they ask why are you smiling? Just say because you have something that was blessed to you (it could be something big/small) it can even be something you're blessed with just enjoy it! There's no reason for you not to smile! Ok i'm done with the smiling lecture! Hope I made you smile! xx
(With smilies and hearts all around)
I think it's amazing to be able to feel like that, and honestly why must you have a reason to smile, if you need one then think of all the blessed things in you're life, such as family, friend, food, water, money (even a little), clothes, eyes, fingers, nose, a body, the ability to talk, hear and smell. You need to be more appreciative with your life because once you lose it it won't come back and then you'll realise it's value.
~~~
Today I managed to find  the two books in the series that I'm currently reading and I'm excited to start them!!! :D I will start my reviews on them as soon as I'm done because I want to be able to give my thoughts into them.

The Art Cards are in my mind but I also had another thought: How to make you're own envelopes and measured envelopes. I shall be making one soon and show it to you all!!

Really feeling the crafting side, writing wise I haven't done any writing today (although I might after this) but I did some writing yesterday. Just want to catch up on my chapters before advancing my stories any further.

Creative Inspiration

Hey Everyone! :D

So I've been watching a lot of crafting and art videos. I was watching one on water colour pencils, I don't have branded water colour pencils or water colour papers. Which I've improvised with my non branded water colour pencils and a sketch book that I use.

I think I really think it came out alot better than I thought! I'll show it to you so let me know what you think of it! :D

So what do you think? I did rip a bit of the paper you can see at the bottom left side. But that's ok because the overall picture still came out really good :)

I've been watching a lot of crafting videos today too, I should be starting on my Art Cards soon :) I shall show you the end results of one when I'm done making them.

That's it for today, take care everyone and think positive Tarana A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

Monday 27 October 2014

Cozy beginning

Hey Everyone,

So today I woke up pretty late, my medication I took was late which is why it took awhile for me to wake up. We had my big sister's in-laws come and visit us yesterday and we had to play host. Which I must say is definitely entertaining, especially when you have the whole family join in and take part in it. Of course I did as well, it's one of those days where I can't sit back and not help because there was a lot to do and everyone was helping out and unexpectedly a lot more than we thought came. We should've expected it because they came down to London for a wedding so there would be so many people. Overall it was a fun and interesting learning experience for us all.

So it took affect on my health the next day, by swelling, aches and pains a lot more than usual. But I didn't want to not do anything so I decided to catch up on my Youtube videos (which I have) and now continue writing my story as usual.

Just a side note I am praying all my prayers Alhamdulilah still, although my Fajr is still not on time but I want to take it step by step. I am able to work on my timetable slowly but surely getting there. Speaking of timetable, I'm going to plan out my weeklu schedule with a minimum of 6 subjects I want to work on. This is like a home study sort of thing, but I'll be working at my own pace and with no preassure from anyone other than myself. I think this will help me to still be active physically and mentally so it's not just me sitting at home not doing anything.

Well that's it for now, don't worry I'm already thinking of the Art Cards I mentioned in my previous post so I'll have something for you all next week hopefully.

Until next time take care and think positive Tarana A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

200th post Part 2 of 2

Hey Everyone :D

Note: This is part 2 of 2 in the 200th post! Hope you enjoy :) If you would like to read part 1 please click here

So here is part 2. Now let me tell you what I've been up to (hehe sort of rhymed lol). Firstly, I've been so engrossed in wattpad reading books and just LOVE it some much. I have a guilty pleasure on reading reverse harem books/mangas and so on. I love the romance and drama in the books especially those that are reverse harem (search it up if you don't know what I'm talking about). Now as a Muslim I know these kinds of things is Haram so I'm not going to promote it and I don't write stories like that either I just read about them. So don't be thinking I have lost my faith in my religion or anything I'm still strong rooted and still learning.

So I joined Wattpad, which is a place where you can read books and stories online by many authors. I'm sure I told you all how I was engrossed in a story completely. Well I recently started another series and pretty much up to date with the series and craving for more (secret indulgent in mind I love reverse harem so it's along those lines) but it's not updated and the next book comes out well tomorrow so the book that I want to read is a book before and I haven't read yet because it's not available yet (online I mean, I couldn't find it in the libraries near me so I'm going for online). So this author actually does cheat sheets and behind the scenes and answers questions of the readers and much more. One of the sneak peak she showed how her thought process was working and how she does her writing. She took a screen shot of her current writing work and I thought to myself I want to know what programme she is using because it's very organised and I can do a lot. So I found out it was Microsoft OneNote! One of the best programmes ever!! You can literally click anywhere and start typing and it would or input an image or draw literally very precise and convience. So I decided to start using it and here is a screen shot of my work at the moment:

If you look closely at the image you can see that I started using this on 2nd October 2014 and also if you follow my writing blog you would also know that I have already started on chapters 1-7 and working on my 8th chapter. Which I actually wrote quite a lot but I would continue it as soon as I come up to date with the other tabs. On the left side of the tabs you can see names of other stories - which I am collabing with others and I thought this would make everything so much more organised and motivates me to actually do more writing which I have been. I love using this programme. (Also I have not been paid to advertise this programme this is just from my opinion and personal experience). So that's what I've been doing with my writing side (that's for those of you who were curious to know and follow my writing blog).

Moving on last Satuday I went out and met with my friends because it's been a LONG time since I've seen them and well when I did I was really happy because I was able to catch up with them and it was nice. My friend and I all exchanged gifts as well because we were expecting to gifts (well I know I was so I wanted to do the same) and my other didn't forgot to bring her gifts for us but she said she would post it to us so I'll show them when they arrive. So anyway me and my friend went to order while my other friend stayed behind to watch over her son (who is adorable by the way!).

They guy that took my order was really nice and friendly, so I gave him my order while I went over towards the drink when I got there me and my friend just started talking. When we arrived to our table, my other friend went to order and told us to keep an eye on her son which we did and we started talking and playing.

Which I then thought was a good time to give my friend her gift, I gave her a mini canvas, a mint green candle set with a ceramic candle holder plate and of course some Maultesers. Which then I was surprsied with the gifts my friend gave me. I wasn't expecting anything spectacular or big but she gave me two gifts which was wrapped (I love opening presents I mean who doesn't?).

She bought me a sketching set, a sketch pad and a canvas! :D I LOOOOVE it so much!! I'm like super eager to start on my drawing too.

Then like about few minutes (literally) my order came! I was so shocked and my friend was asking me how come my order came and hers didn't which was what I was thinking and then I thought to myself I think that the guy liked me lol. But anyways this is what I order, a chicken burger with chips and of course the bottomless drink.

Here is what my friend ordered and her son as well got some food too <3

After that I order some desert, frozen yogurt and BOTTOMLESS too!!!! I loved it sooo much I enjoyed the amount I had I the fact that it was bottomless meant I could have as much as I wanted (which I did!!) Oh the joy I felt!! I loved it!
So when I came home my friend put up a picture of what she did with the mini canvas. She made a foot print of her nephews feet and hung it up it's sooo adorable and was soo cute!! Afterwards I has to stay home for a good week to recover from the event because I was in a lot of aches and pains. Then on Monday (two days after the outing) I wanted to paint on the canvas my friend bought me and so I did with the help of Youtube and this was my result:

Honestly saying I think I'm improving a lot more on my artwork and soon I would get it to the stage of perfection (in my eyes) and feel that satisfaction. There would've been a few things I would change in this painting, firstly I would use a lot less highlights on the clouds and make sure the sun's light really reflected and the reflection on the water too. But i was out of paint nearly so I need to stock up on my acrylics!

Then a few days ago I felt really creative and wanted to draw so I started merging many drawings and practices of them all into one. And I created this: (started on 23/10/14 and actually worked and completed the next day but it really took less then a day).
The drawing may not be clear because of the photo but it's actually a lot more darker than it looks.

And so now that I have catched you all up in my current life happening let me tell you a little about my health. Previously I mentioned I went to see a private doctor and so the results helped me out a lot more than I expected. I'm feeling a lot better and I can move around a lot better but it's still not 100% but it's getting there. I have hospital appointment coming up soon with the pain clinic and I'm looking forward to the outcome of that. Hopefully, I would be able to work even if it is part time and I'm hoping to improve on it by attending the pain clinic.

Well let me see what else should I tell you all? Oh yeah, I've also recently been taking a short course in Adobe Illustrator which is helping me in my graphical art. I really enjoy the class! It's fun to learn about the programme and I'm enjoying it a lot. I started this programme at the beginning of October and missed one lesson because I joined late. I will also be starting a sewing class in the beginning of November too so I'm looking forward to that. I love learning in general! :D

Umm well I think that's about it. Now let me talk about updates here and there:
Other blog news:
Firstly, I'm taking a break in writing on my writing blog for now because there's a lot of things I need to work on and like I mentioned upbove I'll be using OneNote to progress. However I should be still posting poems here and there.

Secondly, my gaming blog would also be on hold because I don't want to do too much at the same time but I should be taking it slow. Everything would continue but at a really slow pace. So my Youtube channel will be on hold as well.

General news for this blog:
So in this blog, I shall update you all with my life again regularly, and I'll try and keep it limited and not make it soo long like these two post have been. I would like to say I want to blog daily but I know if I say it then it won't happen because I don't think I would be able to blog daily, but regularly I can manage :D

Also when I went to meet with my friends, I bought two packs of cards and one pack of pastel paper. I came up with a great way to use them. I'm going to create, what I called, #ArtCards (Art Cards). All you do is create small drawing, painting, inking etc. on a certain size card and you can collect so many. The only thing you can't draw is people and animal (for religion reasons of course) and then you can distribute them online (by selling your #ArtCards in packs that people can buy and collect. There would be themed cards (such as special occasion, seasons, food, etc.) and limited edition cards and much much more! You can start it at your home with cards or even paper in the size of cards you desire! I'm going to be creating some soon and I'll share it with you all.

That's all I have to update you all on. I hope you enjoyed this, I'm sorry for taking so long but like I said I had many things happening that I wanted to share and it was keeping me busy. I like writing long posts but I know many would not be able to spend that time to read it, but I appreciate those who do. I'll try and keep it limited like I did with my Ramadan Diaries so don't worry.

I shall talk to you all soon, until next time take care and think positive Tarana A beaming star shining with postivity for the world to embrace xoxox

200th post + Birthdays + News + Updates and Much More!!! (Part 1 of 2)

Hey Everyone :)

Warning: This is going to be a VERY long post and advice you read it on a computer or laptop then on your phone devices (unless of course it can manage it). Also this is part 1 of 2 so enjoy:

So it's finally here the mega update! It's my 200th post (ignore the update post - my previous post) so I thought I might as well make it long! I know it's been awhile and trust me I think I'll just make it into two parts, because if I don't then I think it will end up being way too big a post.

So lets first start with after Ramadan. Eid was celebrated of course, I decided not to post the dress that I wore on Eid because I know I have male viewers on this blog so I don't want to show that. (religiously it's not appropriate to do so, so I won't, sorry).

Eid day was great though, we all spent the day together and it was wonderful, my younger sister helped my mum make somosas (as did I) and she made this really cute one and you can see below the picture shows the baby somosa comparing it to the average size one isn't it cute?! :D

So after Eid, we had visitors come and go for  the next week or so of course it's to celebrate Eid and to visit one another it was a very pleasant time. My health was troublesome (as usual) but I managed to still get a few things done.

Speaking of my health I went to see a private doctor for homeopathic remedies and she gave me something to take until the next time I see her. To be honest, I was told by my dad and the private doctor that the medication takes time to take affect and the result is a positive outcome - most of the time.

I then went to a summer family fun day with my mum. It's normally for young kids to come with their parents but since it was right near my house I decided to go to it. One of the event was a bungy racing event. I tried it out and my mum took pictures. My go that I had I landed smack down on my face with my legs flying in the air (Alhamdulillah it was covered). Honestly saying I wasn't embaressed about it, people around me were asking if I was ok and I said I was with a smile and the seond time I tried it out and it was so epic!! I didn't win but it was fun. While I was getting off the guy going on next was going up and I muttered to him "I landed smack down now didn't I?" and he burst out laughing which I was smiling at because I felt happy that I made someone smile or laugh in fact.

I tried it out again, and of course there was other activities but I didn't do much else and because we need to go out we went out and that was the result of it! Here's a picture of the activity I took part in (the lane that the guy is in was the lane that I was at - fyi he is not the guy that I made laugh so much lol):

After this incident I must admit I felt the after effects the next few days (health wise). I was in aches and pain again and to be honest with you it was excruciating pain, but so worth it for an outing after a long time of being house bounded. I still liked it and I don't regret it, I had fun, I smiled, I made people smile so it was all good in the end.

Moving on, let us go ahead and talk about my birthday. Yes I turned 24 and honestly saying I think it was just like any other day - or so I thought. While me and my younger sister just started the Harry Potter movie (part 2 coz we have it recorded) we had to hold it off because she was called by my 'dad' and when she left I was just snuggling with my blanket and waiting for her.

Then out of nowhere all my sisters come saying happy birthday and giving me something! I was totally taken by surprise I honestly didn't think I would be getting anything other than a card (which I was COMPLETELY fine with btw) but it turned out I got a bunch of gifts:

This was the card handed to me by my younger sis (that was called by my 'dad') turned out she was actually called for this. I love the card!! It's such an amazing gift! :D
Below is more gifts like bath sets a bracelet from my mum and a mug from my dad which I was taken by surprise because he was the first person to give me a gift before anyone and I was telling my mum then that he actually got me something unlike the rest (not in an ungrateful way! I was trying to say how much dad actually cares and remembers people bdays). Which my mum didn't say anything about it. But afterwards when I got the gifts she told me what I was saying about not getting anything before so I was SOOO happy and completely taken by surprised. I loved the gifts! It was the best.

It's been awhile since I haven't shown you Aston so here he is!! :D I thought I'll share that with you. Look at how he's posing while he's sleeping. He's being so obvious that he wants his tummy rubbed ;)

This was when me and my youngest sis and mum went shopping. After we went shopping we went to eat at guess where? That's right PIZZA HUT!! I  took them there and we were all hanging out and spending our time together after a nice shopping trip.

So after our shopping trip Aston decided to pose for the camera - like literally Aston loves the camera you tell him to look this way (at the camera) and he does lol he even poses it's so cute.

I love this picture, look at him posing inside the Primark bag lol. So cute!!

As you can see I just went a little crazy with Aston's cuteness! But you can never have enough right?

Anyways, there was a point where my big sis and me felt a little creative so we ended up doing some art in the garden with some chalks (as you can see) the two at the top is mine and the two at the bottom is my big sis.

Ok this picture is at Costa, I was meeting up with a friend who I haven't seen in like 6 YEARS!! So we needed a major catch up! So I got there early and ordered my drink.

Yes people I LOOOOOVEE hot chocolate!! This was like one of the best!!! If I had to choose what is my favourite hot beverage it would be HOT CHOCOLATE!!! Then Mocha, Late, cappucino, and coffee honestly saying the rest of the hot beverages just come in second after hot chocolate lol. Also got a nice wafer snack biscuit.

The crazy thing was the fact that my friend changed so much over the years spiritually. Which I felt so happy and relieved about and the fact that she has a daughter also blew me away. I really enjoyed it and was really happy for her.

This is my youngest sisters birthday! I can't believe she turned 16!! I felt so happy for her. She got this beautiful watch from my younger sister and she loved it. We surprised her with it and it was really nice and she was completely surprised.

She was feeling a little sad before so we thought we might as well give her something to surprise her with it. Just like the way they did to me she was also surprised.

Lastly, this is a picture of Aston staring with amiration at my younger sister. It was so cute he loves her so much! Like his first mum and of course I'm his second (I was his first mother but because I used to leave early and he saw more of her he ended up attached to her more). He's grown up so fast!! Still as adorable as ever though!! :D

Well I hope you enjoyed part 1 of this, in the next part I would be updating you all to my more recent events and happenings and then hopefully I would be able to catch up on everything. So stay tuned for that.

Take care Tarana A beaming star shinging with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

Ramadan Diary Day 29 (Sunday 27th July 2014)

Hey Everyone! :D

The last fasting day of the month! I cannot believe that this is the last day, honestly saying to me I feel that it went by quite fast of course there were days that were slow but overall I think it went really fast. I hope everyone enjoyed their Ramadan, I hope it was enriching and you learnt something from it even if it is just one little thing it's still something! :D

Anyways I woke up as usual, ate food, and then I got on my laptop and did a bit of writing but I mostly wanted to write a review on the book that I read and I did! :D It can be found on goodreads (a link will on my expressive writing blog so do check it out).

I like writing and I think writing reviews also helps improves writing especially when you have certain criterias to meet. Like you can't give away the story, and you have to give perspectives of both sides (if you're like me and want to be fair) and of course for me personally, I naturally use words that I normally wouldn't and that is the key factor of improving one's writing.

Anyways, tomorrow is Eid and I'm SUPER excited about it, I already know what I'm going to wear and I have planned out exactly what to wear so it's all sorted out now. I'm really excited and syched! I will post a picture of what I'll be wearing tomorrow so yay for that! :D

Well that's the end of our Ramadan Diary entry until next year everyone (In Sha Allah) take care and think positive Tarana A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

Ramadan Diary Day 28 (Saturday 26th July 2014)

Hey Everyone!! :D

So today I got very few hours of sleep (I was very restless from the body pain for some reason and I ended up reading the current book) it was good because now I can sleep early and wake up early and get my sleeping patterns and eating patterns in check.

I ended up reading and completing another book I started a few days ago and I must admit the book in itself was very good and I'm planning to start writing reviews on any books or shows that I have encountered :) This would be a great way to improve on my writing and of course to really put my perspective in view as I have many thoughts on many books.

Anyway I plan start another story (reading wise) as I have a few and I swear to you I will be continuing my story writing tomorrow hopefully.

Anyways today I have been in the best mood for who knows what the reason but I feel totally like my old self again and it feels great! (I've been told by my youngest sis that I'm apparently acting drunk again LOL).

Anyways that's all for now until tomorrow everyone! Take care and think positive Tarana A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

Ramadan Diary Day 27 (Friday 25th July 2014)

Hello Everyone! :D

I'm back with another Ramadan Dairy entry. Today wasn't such a great day because I received some bad news from my big sis. I will say what as it's personal and more her business than mine. I just feel a little shocked by the news and surprised but at the same time not so surprised. Anyways, other than that everything today was pretty normal, I didn't get any writing done yet but after this post I shall do a little writing. Other than that there's nothing much to say, so take care everyone and thnk positive Tarana A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

Thursday 24 July 2014

Ramadan Diary Day 26 (Thursday 24th July 2014)

Hello Everyone! :D

So today I woke up at 1:30pm and washed up, then I ate some food and then after a bit on the laptop I went and started to read the Qur'an. Now, I've already finished my part, however my older brother didn't get to complete his so I contributed to it. Since it's one of the odd nights of the last 10 days where some Muslims go into seclusion and pray gaining as much rewards from the blessed 10 days. Allah has mentioned about one of the odd nights containing some powerful rewards and is the best time to ask for anything and pray for forgiveness to Allah. This is why most Muslims tend to pray as if that night is the night and because no one is sure of the blessed day Allah has mentioned it is one of the remaining last 10 days. So tonight is one of the odd nights of those day where Allah will listen to you and will answer you (whether it be what you wanted or not Allah will place it upon knowing what's best for you). As it happens to be one of the odd nights, I'll be praying and reading the Qur'an as much as I can.

Also, after I finished reading the Qur'an I went shopping with my dad and it was really relaxing. I really enjoyed it, it was just what I needed and my dad enjoyed the outing too. I already have what I'm going to wear for Eid so I picked up some jewellery and bought a nice sari for my mum. It was so calming and it made me want to go for a picnic with my friends. Which I plan to do after Ramadan, I think they will enjoy it and I will as well. It will also benefit my health as well.

After that we came home, I freshened up and got ready for Iftar, which we ordered pizza because these few days I haven't been really eating properly so my mum was really sweet enough to get pizza. It was a nice calming meal and it was enjoyed with everyone and I loved it.

Unfortunately, I didn't get any writing done today, but I won't give up on it. Because I really want to write and tomorrow I might do some painting (it's been WAY too long since the last time I did anything artistic so I want to do that) and of course some more writing too. Lets just hope I can wake up earlier than usual.

Well that's all for today, I hope you all had a wonderful day. Take care and think positive Tarana A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

Ramadan Diary Day 25 (Wednesday 23rd July 2014)

Hello Everyone!! :D

Day 25! :O Not long to go now, really excited about Eid, the celebration the food the new clothes EVERYTHING! I love Eid so much, I hope everyone has a wonderful Eid. Anyways, I didn't post yesterday because I wasn't feeling too well, felt so weak and tired and hardly even ate anything. I really needed to get some rest, as I did and now I'm feeling a lot better today! :D

I woke a late again but this time I think I will be able to get more writing done though! :) I have to keep my spirits up or else I won't be able to get anything done at all! So after this post and a few snooping here and there I will be headlocked onto my writing. I felt bad because I didn't do anything yesterday but today I will definitely get something done. :)

Well that's all that's happened, take care everyone and think positive Tarana A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

Ramadan Diary Day 24 (Tuesday 22nd July 2014)

Hey Everyone! :D

So as I said on my previous post that I will update again and I am :D This time I'm doing it a little earlier because I don't want to forget or make a commitment so late and never keep it.

So lets get to it shall we? Firstly, I'm really happy that I woke up early - it's a good sign, meaning that I'll be able to fall asleep early (In Sha Allah) and wake up early again and hopefully keep up with that pattern until it's second nature to me. Secondly, I have been eating however not as much because I just don't feel like eating anything, especially when I'm surrounded by people that are fasting it's not right to be eating in front of them (and I don't) so I tend to not eat as much. Although, the sweet thing is my youngest sister or my mum would say to me to eat because I'm not well enough to be fasting so I should be eating more. That really puts a smile on my face, to think that they actually worry about me, I mean I know they do in general of course they're my family so they would, but for them to voice it it's really nice of them to because it helps encourage me to eat more. So thank you for that! :D

Now my day in general was ok, I was watching Shahruhk Khan's life inside and outside of the stardom world and it's really interesting. I like watching these things it places a lot of thoughts in one's mind when you watch another and especially when you can relate to their daily life even just by a little. You start to think that they are in fact human, and are only playing a certain role in a movie or show. It has a good perspective to in my opinion.

Also I thought of writing, and I know I mentioned previously that I would make a start on it, but I still haven't. I think it's because I'm so absorbed into the stories I'm currently reading that I just can't help myself to continue on. But, if and when I wake up early (In Sha Allah) tomorrow I shall be mostly focusing on that and a little less on reading (I will still be reading!).

Well that's it for today I think it was quite a long entry, so I hope you enjoyed reading it (It's also why I categorised it under general too). I would like to hear your Ramadan day or you day in general so don't hesitate and drop in a comment or feel free to say hi because I most probably will reply! :D

Take care and think positive Tarana A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

Ramadan Diary Day 23 (Monday 21st July 2014)

Hey Everyone,

I'm sorry I didn't post this entry yesterday because I was really tired and I wanted to go to bed which I did and now I've woken up early. So happy that I did because this means that my sleep routine is going to slowly start coming together.

Anyways yesterday nothing exciting really happened, I was just doing a little bit of reading but mostly I was craving to do A LOT of writing. I didn't do anything but I think will tomorrow (Today - Tuesday 22nd) because I really want to get my creative side flowing through again.

Other than that it was a pretty normal day I also posted my 3 poems that I worked on during the storm on Friday which you can read if you like. Although I want to say something else happened but honestly saying nothing else did, it was a pretty normal day to be honest.

So with that being said I shall now say take care everyone and think positive Tarana A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

Monday 21 July 2014

Ramadan Diary Day 22 (Sunday 20th July 2014)

Hey everyone! :)

Ok I know this is a day late and it's because I was so engrossed in the book I'm reading that I didn't even realise that it was so late and I went to bed completely not realising that I was supposed to make an entry. But I'm here now :) so lets get to it shall we? :P

So like I said to you I was going to read the Qur'an, the portion that I still had left, and Alhamdulilah I managed to finish it with a stiff body and pain shooting everywhere it was still fine. My reading has not been so consistant in tone and I was making a lot of mistakes which clearly showed that I am not a regular reader. So I think I need to start making this a part of my more often so that it will be flowy (is that even a word? lol).

Anyway after I read the Qur'an I read that story I am currently reading and ended up finishing it and started the second book where there are a few chapters but still on hold. I'm not reading another story by the same author and it's really increasing my writing a lot (The three poems I worked on will be posted today on my writing blog check the links to find the blog).

So that was that happened, I really enjoyed it today :) it was really good. During Iftar the boys all went to the mosque for an invite from the Imam. So it was just us girls spending our time together, that was really worth it. :D

Anywho, that's all for now, I'll catch up with you all later today for today's daily diary entry. Take care and think positive. Tarana A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

Saturday 19 July 2014

Ramadan Diary Day 21 (Saturday 19th July 2014)

Hey everyone! :D

So today I didn't do anything other than reading that book I told you about. It's funny, intense and unpredictable and I really love it a lot! :D

I think tomorrow I will finish off the rest of my Qur'an reading as I feel like I want to read it :) it feels weird not to. Today for Iftar we ate grill food which was A-maze-ing!!! :D Alhamdulilah today's meal was simply magnificent and I felt grateful for eating. My youngest brother, however, had a BBQ with his friends for Iftar which was nice.

I think it will wonderful to have a family BBQ just my family because I know there will be jokes and great talks all the way. I think I rubbed off little of my positive thinking to my family because they all start thinking a little more optimistically.

Anyways that's all for today take care everyone and think positive as always Tarana A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

Friday 18 July 2014

Ramadan Diary Day 20 (Friday 18th July 2014)

Hey Everyone! :D

Ok today I was not feeling too well, and didn't have much of an appetite. I have no idea why, probably the unstable sleep? I'm not exactly sure but I think that could be one of the reason. Either way that is what I have been feeling.

I didn't eat much either which I know isn't so good so I would be eating more just after I finish this post :) Also the heat has been quite drastic and definitely was one of the hottest day of the year so far. Consequently, I went out to get a little sun and it was good but did not feel great because of the heat. However I kept myself cool bing beside the shade. It really was good.

Speaking of the weather, remember how I said it was hot? Well afterwards during the night there was THUNDERSTORMS and LIGHTNING!! It was pretty intense and honestly saying it inspired me to write a few poems (Which I will be publishing on my expressive writing blog soon).

I started reading that novel I came across called Falling for Sakura, and I must admit I fell in love with it straightaway! I haven't been abosorbed into a book in a while and it felt refreshing :) To make one's life better changing around one's routine a little helps make the most of your daily life.

Overall it was a eventful day in it's own way. Now if you'll excuse my I shall get back to my book while I eat a lot (or try to at least). Take care and think positive Tarana A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

Ramadan Diary Day 19 (Thursday 17th July 2014)

Hey everyone! :)

So today was a HOT day and apparently tomorrow will be THE HOTTEST DAY OF THE YEAR SO FAR! :O I'm actually ok with the heat, because I'm not doing anything to break out into sweats or anything. :)

Anyways I shall tell you about my day, firstly I went to the doctors with my mum, unfortunately she may have arthritis which is affecting her right arm. I really hope she gets well >.< It was a long wait and my health wasn't getting well, but I went because I needed to get some sunlight so I did.

After I came back I helped a little in the kitchen but not for long because I was tired. I recently got back into my anime and manga, and was watching this one series that at the end of it made me cry and well happy. It was a sweet reverse harem anime :) I love reverse harem and well I'm currently into that right now. I follow this blogger who is all about the reverse harem and well from that I came across so many other anime and mangas that captured my heart.

As I was scrolling through, a novel captured my eyes and lead me to make a wattpad account. It's really interesting and I love it a lot and now I'm on Wattpad so I'll be posting my stories on that soon!

Anywho that's all that's happened take care and think positive even in this heat please be strong and you will pull through :) Tarana A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

Ramadan Diary Day 18 (Wednesday 16th July 2014)

Hey everyone! :D

Can you believe it's already day 18? That's how much progress you all made on your Ramadan and you're not alone! Many other Muslim brothers and sisters are doing the same thing. Struggling with their fast or something else. Do not feel discouraged because this is a time for each and everyone to help themselves become a better person. So think more along the lines of how I can be a better person rather than I already am a better person. In every individual there is always something to improve, be your own judge and seek your own justice through challenges and obstacles that would help you become a better person for yourself, for those around you and also for Allah.

Today was another peaceful Iftar spent with my family, I like how our family become more closer during these times so be sure to always respect and talk nicely to each other because it's really important. Again, you are not alone in this world so don't ever feel like you can't express yourself because there is always someone out there who would help you out no matter what.

That's all I wanted to say, well until next time take care and think positive Tarana A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

Ramadan Diary Day 17 (Tuesday 15th July 2014)

Asalamualaikum Warahmatulahi Wabarakatu :)

I just finished having Iftar with my family, it was nice everyone was talking and enjoying their meals. We had some laughs and they were great. I really enjoyed it a lot. I truly feel blessed to have such a big family ^_^

Anyways that's all that's just happened take care everyone and I'll blog again tomorrow In Sha Allah take care everyone and think positive Tarana A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

Ramadan Diary Day 16 (Monday 14th July 2014)

Hey Everyone! :D

Ok so today I woke a up earlier than usual! So yay for that!! :D I ate properly too like I should be, I know people are fasting and it's hard for them and for someone like me who wants to fast but isn't allowed it's difficult too. I need to maintain my eating and also be aware of others as well. I felt like I'm doing something so wrong by not fasting but obviously that's not true.

I have been more optimistic today and been in a good mood for some reason. I felt like I can do anything, I was helping my mum with some of the food today and I felt great while helping (although the after affects of my health kicked in) but I enjoyed it so much! I felt happy that I was doing something rather than seeming lazy and not active at all. I know that I shouldn't be doing much but I need to do something or else I can't sit still you know? It was just one of those days where I felt like I can be productive and do something ragardless of my circumstances, anyone else felt like that before?

Well anyways I had an enjoyable day today and I think it will In Sha Allah get even better :D Always hope for the best and prepare for the worst ;) Take care everyone and think positive Tarana A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

Sunday 13 July 2014

Ramadan Diary Day 15 (Sunday 13th July 2014)

Hey everyone!! :D

So today was not a good start because I woke up REALLY late! I have no excuses I really should try and sleep early.

That's aside I finished watching the Fifa World Cup of this year and surprisingly to me Germany scored a goal in the end! Happy they won but I'm also proud of Argentina for getting this far. I think everyone assumed it was going to be another penalty shoot out but the score was set by Germany. I love watching the World Cup because to me it's like the whole world unite in a sort of way and make it a joyous (sometimes) occasion. I love seeing the celebration and confetti at the end of it.

Also I made a start on my story chapter 8 and came up with many other ideas along the way and I'm sort of excited about the story I hope it progresses a lot more! :D

At the moment I'm eating - as I have been working on my eating as well. The food is good and I feel blessed to be with a family that supports me so. :)

Well that's all I have to say I hope your Ramadan is all going well and if those who don't fast I hope you had a great day ;) take care and think positive Tarana A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

Ramadan Diary Day 14 (Saturday 12th July 2014)

Hey everyone!

I know it's late! I have no excuses I even woke up early today (9am) I was really happy and well now that I'm sleeping late it doesn't really help.

I'm the manga phase again and I I started getting caught up in them again. This time around I will control it though - even though today wasn't a good start but I will In Sha Allah!

I've been feeling pretty weak these days (I'm assuming its the unbalanced sleep schedule) so I need to work on that again.

Anyways please always keep me in your dua's as I really need all the help I can get >.< I hope for a brighter future and always look forward to it.

Well that's all for today take care and think positive Tarana A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

Friday 11 July 2014

Ramadan Diary Day 13 (Friday 11th July 2014)

Hey everyone! :D

So today was a pretty normal day although I have been feeling really weak but other than that I'm good.

I think with some things you just need patience like with my health I know it's going to take long time for me to get well and if this is something permanent then I would look beyond to see what I can do with this health condition.

It's about the perspective that one has for the needs and aspirations as well as others as well. Anyway that's all for now I guess.

Take care and think positive Tarana A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

Ramadan Diary Day 12 (Thursday 10th July 2014)

Hey everyone!! :D

It's already day 12! Alhamdulilah we made it so far! Please remember that patience is also part of fasting. A good way to spend your time would be to read the Qur'an. Read about Islam, listen to some Islamic lectures and really get in touch with spiritual side of things.

I think today I haven't been too well, I felt a little weak than usual and so I have been making my food intake a lot more than usual too.

Other than that I haven't been doing much :) but that's all for today until tomorrow. Take care everyone and think positive Tarana A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

Ramadan Diary Day 11 (Wednesday 9th July 2014)

Hey everyone ;)

Ok well today I have to admit I woke up late and I feel so tired! Which is a good thing because that means I can sleep early and wake up early! :D which is also why I'm doing this post early.

Anyways I think I'm really getting in touch with my writing side of things which is why I plan to update my journal and also start writing up my poems on paper :) I think I was inspired by the recent anime/manga I'm interested in called Chihayafuru it's really interesting and I got intrigued by the poetry and thought it would help with writing and creativity boost too so I'm going to do that! :D although I did think of that before starting this manga/anime and it was interesting writing the poems that I did because I've never though I would be interested in poems but they are intact a lot more valuable then people give credit for.

Anyways that's all for now take care everyone and think positive Tarana A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

Ramadan Diary Day 10 (Tuesday 8th July 2014)

Hey everyone :)

Ok so today was pretty simple but a little stressful because I had to do some more employment related stuff. I can't work but the job centre workers seem to think otherwise as though I am well enough for work when I'm not.

But honestly saying I can't work but I want to work. I guess there will be a point where I will have to work now. Which is good but not so good at the same time. Anyway I just hope it will be sorted out soon.

Other than that it was a pretty casual day and I was just relaxing and watching anime and reading manga which I started up recently again.

Anyways always think positive everyone :) take care and think positive Tarana A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

Ramadan Diary Day 9 (Monday 7th July 2014)

Hey everyone!

Hope everything is well with you all I know I haven't been updating its because I was not feeling well and I also lost track of time. So I'll update you on the days I've missed now:

Monday was a good day it was very simple and quiet and the food was food too. I spend the time eating during the day but not so much because I wasn't so hungry and my family wash fasting so I didn't want to eat in front of them.

I really enjoyed it though this month always has peace and tranquility. It's just how people go about it that's all.

Well nothing out of the ordinary happened so I'll end this post here and continue on the next day on the next post. take care and think positive Tarana A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

Ramadan Diary Day 8 (Sunday 6th July 2014)

Hey everyone!! :)

Ok so today I feel better (emotionally) and I think I just needed to say what I needed and expressed a little bit of it through a poem - it's quite negative and I felt bad for writing what I did but I think it was necessary (if you would like to check it out please go to my expressive writing blog under poems/songs it is poem 3 called The Anger Within).

Anyway today was a good day I think it was more calming and the food we all shared was great and it was enjoyable. I was thinking about how we all as a family come together during Iftar and it's wonderful because we all share stories or jokes, personally I think it's one of the perks of having a big family.

Anyway that was all that happened and to end on a positive note no matter who you are, you're not alone there is always someone watching you maybe you know them and maybe you don't but you will always have someone thinking about you! Allah is always there for us and He is closer to us then anyone or anything out there. Remember that.

Ramadan Diary Day 7 (Saturday 5th July 2014)

Hey Everyone! :D

Ok so today was quite a interesting start ~ I woke up late (as usual but working on it slowly people don't worry) and when I was eating I was reading an Islamic article on something that I knew I wouldn't accept but have to in Islam. It was about the men and women's rights to their spouse. And the more I read it I have to be honest about this...I didn't like it.

I guess you could call me a small scale feminist but it's the way I feel and honestly saying I felt horrible but conflicted because I shouldn't be feeling like this at all.

After reading and while reading it I cried because of the way I viewed it and how horrible I felt to an obligation that Allah made  for both men and women to oblige.

I think personally it will take time for to make peace with this but In Sha Allah I can overcome this dreadful though and become a better Muslim.

Like always I don't like to leave things on a negative perspective so I'll throw in a little positive shall I? :P my praying has improved as I'm spending more time asking for forgiveness and also I feel that I'm becoming a better person and hopefully if Allah wills my health will also get better ^_^ please always keep me and everyone in the world in your prayers like I always do :) believe it or not I've made dua's for people I've never met and people that I'm close to all the time. Take far and think positive Tarana A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

Ramadan Diary Day 6 (Friday 4th July 2014)

Hey everyone!!

Ok well my sleep pattern got really messed up so that's why I'm writing up this post so late and also because I was so absorbed in my Anime that I completely lost track of time! :O

So I remembered now and thought I'd give you the low down. Nothing special actually but today I felt extremely weak and it affected me the whole day which is why I didn't do anything but just watch anime >.< sad as that may sound it's what happened, of course I did pray. :)

I have been trying to work on my eating and sleeping pattern and I need to try more harder so I will make a start on that tomorrow In Sha Allah :)

Well that's all for today just to end it on a good note I think struggle would always be there to attack it's just a way for you know and learn how to counter attack it and make sure it doesn't affect in a negative way but more so through a challenge and test on your life :)

Ramadan Diary Day 5 (Thursday 3rd July 2014)

He Everyone! :)

So I think today I made it a little more productive day, although I wasn't doing much but I think blog updates I made some good changes and of course still in process.

Another thing that happened to me today was that I woke up from a bad dream. Now I won't say what the dream was because you should t be spreading around bad things so I won't say it. But when I woke up Tom it I felt disgusted with myself and also felt like not praying! :O

However after I washed up I Alhamdulilah felt the need to pray and felt that I cleansed myself from any bad. Now I feel more productive with my time :) I will be working on more of blog updates these next few weeks and of course my story too so stay tuned for that. Also lastly I made a target for myself to make this post my last late post and start sleeping more early "!

Anywho that's all for now until tomorrow In Sha Allah take care and think positive Tarana A beaming star shining with positivity for the world to embrace xoxox

All about me

Hey Everyone! :D

So this page would be dedicated to everything you all need to know about me from education, work, family to my interests, hobbies, habbits and so on! :D

Firstly, I would like to say I'm a Muslim and I take my religion seriously. I'm not an extremist I just implement many of the Islamic rulings and I would share them with you throughout.

So lets start off with my family shall we:

Firstly I have a big family Alhamdulilah :D there are 7 of us all together and including my parents that's 9 of us! My family are pretty low key and don't like to be so opened except for me though I'm pretty ok with it but I would respect their privacy. Well anyways my siblings and I are really close and we have ups and downs - like any other family - but majority of the time we always get along :)

One of the cool things about my family is our distinct personalitis, we have many things in common but we also have complimenting and conflicting personalities! I'm the optimist amongst them all though. Another cool thing is that my siblings order of birth goes in girl, boy, girl...First my older sister, older brother, me, younger brother, younger sister, youngest brother and finally youngest sister!

So that's all about my family! So whenever you hear me mention a brother or a sister pay attention to which one because I'll mention it by either saying young brother or youngest brother. So anyways I hoped you all are able to know a little more about my family.

Moving on from family lets go onto education:

When I was really young I was in a primary school where I don't remember much but only the fact that I had a best friend and we used to play together. But then my family and I moved and now we're living in the house that we're currently living in. When I moved here I didn't get to go to school straight away until after 2-3 weeks because there was no space available. Then I started in year 3 where I was pretty nervous and shy and met a lot different people. I remember one specific thing where during break time I was like followed around by my class girls because I was the new girl so everyone was curious about me. Honestly saying it was like the popular aspect of my primary life I felt pretty appreciated, I thought, and felt that I had people who were interested in me even if I was the new girl. Afterewards the crowd drifted to their own groups and so did I, which honestly made me a little sad but happy that I have a lot of good friends in my class.

So I spent 3 years in that primary school, afterwards I went to secondary school where I was with my friends from primary and that's when you can really see whose your friend and who isn't. In year 9  we had to pick options for GCSE which we'll study for two years in year 10 and 11 along side other compulsary subjects. I chose Textiles, Ristant Materials (RM - Woodworking) and Bengali. I know what you guys are thinking RM? Seriously? Well I only chose it because I thought it was about making things (which it was and it was nice). Textiles was something that I really enjoyed as I'd liked to be designing clothes too and I only chose Bengali because my dad wanted me to and also because at the time we were doing a lot of studying at home on Bengali so yeah. At the end of it all I did pass both Textiles and Bengali and well not so much in RM (hahaha! I'm sure you can guess that I didn't pass). My other compulsary subjects weren't so good (as you can tell I wasn't such a smart person).

After secondary rolled on to college where I studied an extra year (making it 3 years when usually people study two years). I studied in my first year a childcare course which I enjoyed and must admit did really well in it too. I finished my work ahead of everyone else and working on topics that haven't been covered. After that I did 2 years in Health Studies so I learnt a lot about health and safety, policies and many other health related topics.

Then I went onto studying University for 3 years. This is where I took up a degree in Early Childhoos Studies. It was a good subject, I enjoyed it a lot I had a lot of interesting subjects and the lectures were intriguing I really loved it a lot. I did quite well in it too so I was really impressed with the outcome. I really enjoyed the study of children in different ways and perspectives and also how to care for them too. It's a lot of work and assignments and exams but I think it was a wonderful experience to gain.

I then went onto doing further education which entailed my PGCE Primary. This was a post-graduate degree including teacher training and a process to becoming a teacher. This I have to say was where my most effort was tested. It required me to multitask so many things at once and still have the energy to carry out daily teaching tasks. I loved teaching the children and learning in the process as well. However I wasn't able to handle the preassure for long and I had to withdraw from it after being in the programme more than half way through. I think I just went into it a little to fast and wasn't fully ready for it.

Hobbies and Interests:

My hobbies and interest include many things and it's very wide range and includes as follows:
~ Reading ~Writing ~ Drawing ~ Painting
~ Crafting ~ Playing games ~ Exploring new things ~ Watching tv shows
~ Meeting new people ~ Watching anime ~ Reading manga

Well that's all I could think of with what I like to do if I think of more I'll add more to it.

Oh emplyment:
Honestly saying I haven't really worked, I have done many volunteering work from hospitals, to admin to of course working with children. But I never really worked, finding a job is always hard and I was no exception do this predicament. I would love to work I enjoy that aspect of life and I hope that I could be able to one day in the future (when I'm well enough).

Well that's all about me I hope you were able to learn a little bit more about me :)
